Welcome to my blog! My name is Eddie Axelsson, and I’m currently serving in the United States Air Force while studying to become a cybersecurity professional. Technology has always been something I enjoyed learning about, but my interest in information technology really grew after I started building computers, exploring hardware components, and researching how everything connects to keep systems running smoothly.
I’m working toward earning my degree in Cybersecurity because my career goal is to commission as a Cybersecurity Officer in the Air Force. In this role, I’ll be responsible for protecting sensitive information, defending networks, and staying ahead of the constantly changing world of cyber threats. The military has taught me discipline and teamwork, and I want to use those skills to build a long-term career in information technology.
This blog is a place where I’ll share what I’m learning as I explore different IT topics. I’ll be writing about things like the hardware that makes up computer systems, different career paths in IT, and how these connect to real-world experiences. My hope is that this blog not only shows my growth in the field but also helps others who are just starting their own IT journey.
Through this course and my future studies, I want to gain the knowledge and tools to become an expert in cybersecurity while also developing a broader understanding of the IT world. Whether it’s hands-on hardware, learning about cloud systems, or diving into new career opportunities, I’m excited to see where this path takes me.
